There are lots of mobile apps that provide helpful services whenever and wherever you need them. Please be mindful that anyone can develop and put apps in the app store so be sure you are getting apps from quality sources. The logos below are all 'clickable' so if you are interested in any of the apps listed, click the logo for more information.

ACT Coach

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) aims to help you live with unpleasant thoughts, feelings, and impulses without avoiding them or being controlled by them. In ACT, you are encouraged to commit to actions so that you can live your life by your values, even in the face of these unpleasant experiences.

AIMS for Anger Management

AIMS is designed for Veterans and military Service members but can be used by anyone coping with anger problems. The AIMS app is based on the Anger and Irritability Management Skills online self-help course, and provides users with tools to track and help manage anger, education about anger, and opportunities for finding support. Users can also create custom tools based on their preferences, and can integrate their own contacts, photos, and music.

ANC Explorer

Arlington National Cemetery's app, ANC Explorer, enables families, visitors and the public to locate gravesites and other points of interest throughout the cemetery; to view front-and-back headstone photos and points of interest; and to receive directions to these locations. The latest version also includes easy access to general information and the ability to save searched burial records to a mobile device. Babies on the Homefront

Are you a military or Veteran parent of a young child? This app is filled with information about your child’s development, ideas for playing with your baby or toddler (even while deployed), dealing with challenging behaviors, and maximizing your own self-care. With your own private cloud account, you can confidently share photos and videos with both your co-parent across the world or family across the country. Messaging allows you to share important family happenings between co-parents, emojis with your child, and send video of those amazing baby “firsts".

Beyond MST

Beyond MST is a free, secure, trauma-sensitive mobile app that was created specifically to support the health and well-being of survivors of sexual assault or harassment during military service, also called military sexual trauma (MST). The app has over 30 specialized tools and other features to help those who use it cope with challenges, manage symptoms, improve their quality of life and find hope.

Couples Coach

The Couples Coach app is designed for partners who want to improve their relationship and explore new ways to connect. Couples choose missions—small commitments to improve your relationship—to work through on their own or with their partner. There are five levels of couples training with dozens of missions to choose from. Missions help couples increase positive communication and work through conflict.

Insomnia Coach

The Insomnia Coach app was created for everyone, including Veterans and Service members, to help manage insomnia. The app is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I).

Live Whole Health

VA’s Live Whole Health app is a free, easy to use tool created for Veterans and others who are ready to take the next step in their Whole Health journey. Whole Health is VA’s holistic approach to care that supports your health and well-being. Whole Health centers care around what matters to you, not what is the matter with you. With this app, you can fill out your personal health inventory, set goals, and learn more about Whole Health.

Mindfulness Coach

Mindfulness means noticing and paying attention to what is going on in the present moment, without passing judgment on it. Mindfulness has been shown to be effective for reducing stress, improving emotional balance, increasing self-awareness, helping with anxiety and depression, and coping more effectively with chronic pain.

Monroe Mental Health

The Monroe Mental Health App provides essential mental and behavioral health information to Monroe County, New York residents. The app features acute and outpatient resources, suicide prevention services, and Narcan information and training. You can also create your own safety plan with actionable steps for harm reduction. Remember to call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline to get 24/7, free and confidential support. In case of an emergency, call 9-1-1.

MOVE! Coach

MOVE!® Coach is an app for Veterans, service members, their families, and others who want to manage their weight. This mobile tool provides users with weight management education and resources in an easy and convenient way. Users can monitor their progress with their health and weight goals.

Pain Coach

Pain Coach is an interactive app for people managing chronic pain. It includes in-depth education, customizable support, and in-the-moment practice activities based on the latest in pain management.

PTSD Coach

The PTSD Coach app was designed for Veterans experiencing symptoms of PTSD. You do not have to be in treatment for PTSD to use this app, but it is not a replacement for therapy.

PTSD Coach is available in English and Spanish.

PTSD Family Coach

PTSD Family Coach is for family members of those living with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The app provides extensive information about PTSD, how to take care of yourself, how to take care of your relationship with your loved one or with children, and how to help your loved one get treatment.

Safety Plan

The Safety Plan app is for anyone who has experienced suicidal thoughts. The app helps you identify personal coping strategies and sources of support – giving suicidal thoughts time to decrease and become more manageable.

STAIR Coach

Skills Training in Affective & Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR) is an evidence-based psychotherapy designed to help with emotion regulation and interpersonal relationship problems that people commonly experience after a trauma.

Stay Quit Coach

Stay Quit Coach 2.0 is designed to help anyone who would like to quit or reduce use of cigarettes, electronic nicotine delivery systems, cigars and chewing tobacco.

Stay Quit Coach 2.0 helps users identify their personal reasons for quitting, set goals, and track their progress over time. It provides information about tobacco use and nicotine withdrawal. Interactive tools help users cope with urges and motivational messages help users stay tobacco-free.

UCLA Mindful

With this easy-to-use app, you can practice mindfulness meditation anywhere, anytime with the guidance of the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center. The app includes meditations in multiple languages. Scientific research shows mindfulness can help manage stress-related physical conditions, reduce anxiety and depression, and cultivate positive emotions.

VA Health and Benefits

With the official VA: Health & Benefits app, you can manage your VA health care, benefits, and payments from your mobile phone or tablet.

VA Video Connect

VA Video Connect is VA’s secure videoconferencing app. It is designed to help Veterans and their caregivers quickly and easily meet with VA health care providers through live video on any computer or mobile device with an internet connection.

With VA Video Connect, you can take part in video visits with your VA care team and gain access to specialists from all over the country. Talk with your VA provider about using VA Video Connect if you have limited access to VA facilities, lack the time to regularly attend in-person appointments, or don’t require a hands-on physical examination.

VetChange

VetChange is an app for Veterans and Service members who are concerned about their drinking and how it relates to posttraumatic stress, and for all people who are interested in developing healthier drinking behaviors. This app provides tools for cutting down or quitting drinking, tools for managing stress symptoms, education about alcohol use and how it relates to PTSD symptoms, and guidance to find professional treatment.

Wayne County W.H.I.P.

Live healthier and download this app for very easy, quick access to all of the county's department of health information. This app includes access to information on communicable disease, chronic diseases and health issues, emergency preparedness, county health programs and services and opioid/addiction resources. Also easy access to rabies and immunization clinics and information.
