The Expanded In-home Services for the Elderly Program offers case management, subsidized personal care/housekeeping aide service, and other possible supports such as subsidized social adult day care, a personal emergency response system (PERS units), home delivered meals, home repairs, and more. Must be 60+, Monroe County resident, and ineligible for Medicaid.
Lifespan provides information, guidance and more than 30 services for older adults and caregivers. Services include care navigation and planning, financial management services, medicare counseling, home safety (grab bars, hand rails, bath seats, etc), and more. They are a regional nonprofit serving Monroe and surrounding Finger Lakes counties.
Lifespan maintains resource sheets for medical supply closets, food delivery options, transportation, adult day care providers, senior centers, housing options, and so much more.
